Black Sea Uchant

Took him out of my main cause he's done a fantastic job on the green, now there's no more and I dont want him to start on my coraline so I put him in my ref, He's cleaning all my LR of the green in there, just wondering if he's eating the good stuff that I need in my ref?

FWIW you don't need Coralline in your reef. It just looks nice so most of use like it to be present.

I don't think your urchin would hurt anything that is biologically beneficial to your tank.

I'd supplement feedings w/ Nori or you could try the agae wafer used for FW Plecos, if you don't think enough algae is present for him to munch on.

I'm looking into getting my first Sea Urchin very soon. I'm looking into a Tuxedo Urchin .

Kool, I wicked like him, dont want ta do anything to screw him up, I got some baby puffers I caught on the beach in my ref right now and they keep trying to get in between his spines at night to sleep, pretty wild stuff.. Thank,s I finally got my water to where its all zero,s, just was worried that if he ate the alge that was getting rid of my trates that they would start going up again. Thanks Again......Peace!
