cycle
I have a 75 gallon with 90 lbs of LR. This rock can from a fully established tank that was set up for a year. The rock was in a foam box with newspaper over night. This rock is now in my tank and my levels are perfect. ALk, Cal, Mag, PH all in check. Trates are 0.
Do i still need to wait the 4-6 week for the cycle or should i go get my clean up crew. |

Most of the die off i removed. There was some hitchhiking Zoas that are back to life and open, feather dusters are out, and theres a big tube worm that is making his tube bigger. They seem to be happy!

You're probably safe to SLOWLY start adding part of your clean up crew. Just keep a close eye on your parameters.
Don't add all of the crew at once, do it in several batches so you can watch what happens. |
