Mounting Lights to Acrylic Canopy
Hope someone can help with this question. I have an acrylic canopy/hood and I am not sure how to mount a T5 retrofit to it. I don't have the retrofit kit yet....am planning on buying the Coralvue pre-assemble T5 kit. I have done some research, and it seems like I can use some type of acrylic glue (Weld-on products). My concern is that the acrylic glue has a low flash point and that could be a fire hazard.
If someone has an acrylic canopy and has mounted a retrofit light, please do impart your knowledge to a newbie. Thanks |

You can use nylon bolts and nuts they do not rust.

Thanks Meco. I haven't thought about plastic bolts and nuts. Appreciate your suggestion.
