Added my CUC today...

Well i have now added my CUC today, had a small disaster with one of em but he seems fine.

Got 4 red leg hermits, 1 sand sifting starfish, 2 turban snails, 2 peppermint shrimp and the star of the show, the boxer shrimp!

All seem to be doing fine so far, although i only added them about 3 hours ago, the small disaster happened with the boxer shrimp, whilst trying to untie the bag with my hands being wet it slipped and boxer ended up on the floor in a bursted bag, he was still just covered with water so tried to acclimate best i could but he ended up going in after only about 15 mins.

He seems fine at the minute but only time will tell i guess, amazing thing is even after being dropped about 3 feet onto the floor he never lost any of his legs or claws! tough cookie lol.

Will get some pics if he comes out from hiding in his new cave.

tell me you are kidding your experience lists 4 days if more please update this info.

how long has the tank been up and running?

and take the starfish back. your tank is definately too new and too small to attempt this creature. as they will consume everything in your substrate and starve to death.

other than that congrats on the additions. just remember goooo ssslllooowwww.
