upgrading lighting

I am upgrading my lighting. I currently have PC lighting 4x65. I am upgrading to T-5 lighting 6x54. I was wondering how I should acclimate my corals to my new light. I didnt want to add the stress of moving them around, so I was figuring I would shorten the light cycle down to like 2 hrs a day atinic only and then 2 more hrs atinic + daylight. And just ad an hr of daylight a day until I get up to 6 hrs or so. What does everyone else think?

if it were me just put them on the bottom of the sand and slowly move them up to the top, or their respected spots. i have also heard of people using a screen material to "filter" or "shade" the light for a few days and then jut removing that.
