Any point at all using a 10 watt UV on a 120 gallon tank

Subject says it all. Picked this up used. Will this do me any good? I imagine the flow through it will have to be super slow.

It will not act prophylatically for disease control on a single tank; it will keep disease from spreading between tanks that share water. What is the purpose of this for you?

It should help with freefloating algae so it will help a bit in clearing water. nothing cray though. Its kinda underpowered. Just make sure you dont run too much water through it. I would probably run about 50gph or maybe even a little less
