Any Opinions on the Bermuda C-3 Skimmer?
I'm in the market for a new skimmer. I currently have a 72gal but will upgrade to a 150gal in the future. I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this skimmer. Or if anyone can suggest a similar skimmer around the same price.
Thanks, |

There really isn't a "similar skimmer" like the 3C with that much potential. The closest would be the aqua C EV 120 with the closest footprint. As far as performance go...well I'll let you know THIS SAT when mine finally arrives!!! I've heard nothing but good things from these guys. Others have opted for the MSX series skimmers which are also truly impressive but have to be moded for their full potential to be reached. Which I really wouldn't mind at all either.
What the 3C pulls out is really impressive. |

i have a 5c on my 250 total adjusted volume sps tank and it does a phenomenal job at it.
consistent skimmate, really a set it and forget it skimmer (though setting it does take a little more time than an euroreef), great diffusion design to decrease bubble turbulence. best part about the bermuda is that one isnt tied to using the manufacturer (ie needlewheel skimmers) pump(s). that means if the pump ever goes south then it is very easy to find a replacement. ami happy with my bermuda skimmer? oh yeah!!!!

Awesome! I'm going to buy it as soon as I can figure out if it will fit in my 9''W x 11''L x 27''H section in my sump.

it should as the footprint on the 3C is only 7"x5" and a little under 2' in height.
the 5C, if you opt to go that way though I think it'd be a bit excessive with these skimmers, only has a 10"x7" HTH |
