Brittle Sea Stars

I just bought a nine pound piece of live rock that was already cured and after close observations I have found at least 6 brittle sea stars living inside of it.

Can this be a threat to my tank at all?

I have a clownfish and a purple firefish in my 24g tank that has been running for about 2 months now.

Should I attempt to take some of these sea stars out?
