GEO 612 Setup?
Hello,
I am setting up my new GEO 612 calcium reactor. My current water parameters are: SG: 1.025 PH: 8.3 ALK: 10Dkh Cal: 425 All others undetectable My question is with my initial setup. I am using an Aquacontroller Jr. What should I set my PH values for to open and close the Co2 valve? What should my drip rate be in ml per minute? What should my BPM be? I have read other threads and see varying info all over. What should I watch for and what measures should I take if I notice an increase or decrease in water parameters? |

I was also wondering is this a set it and forget it type of tool. Or will I have to play with the BPM, drip rate, etc. whenever I add new corals, or as my corals grow larger?

i started with 30 BPM and 50 ml drip rate. my reactor PH is set to 6.7-6.8. its keeping my 120 SPS tank constant at 10dKh and 420Ca.
anyhow, here's the link to a Geo 618 model but it should be the same...good luck!! http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...5&pagenumber=1 |

That is a great link to help set up your reactor.
jdieck is an absolute saint in helping out with these reactors. Check out the tread and post there if you have questions/problems. |

start your reactor at a broken stream and run your ph between 6.9 and 7 and adjust down for more alk or higher for less
its the easiest way to set a calcium reactor every tank is different
