difference between Magnum 350 Deluxe and Pro?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but are the differences between the Magnum 350 Deluxe and Pro canister filter packages? And is there any easier-to-clean canister filter than this one? thanks!

The only difference between the two is that the Pro version includes a set of BioWheel 60s. I have FW setups also and I think this canister does a decent job for the price (though many are better). However, IMHO canisters aren't suited well for SW setups (as many here will undoubtedly agree). However, it would be particularly effective at water polishing if you use just the Micron cartridge. Hope that helps !

Magnums are actually a pain to service due mainly to the O-ring. I like Eheims and Filstars for their large media capacities and are fairly easy to service.

The new Marineland C-series are a lot nicer than the magnums.

I'm not sure what you are going to use the Magnum Pro setup for, but I used one a 55 gallon FW tank for over 5 years and never have had an any problems with it.

The only good I have seen a Magnum 350 is as a Phosban or carbon media filter.

I have a Magnum 350 Deluxe, complete with all the hoses, valves and quick disconnets that I will sell for $60, if you are interested. I barely used it and no longer have the extra space for it.
