Trying to decide on bulbs
So here's the deal, i've decided to go with VHO for my lighting setup.
I'm trying to decide on what I should go with for bulbs. here's my three choices 2 URI Aquasun 110w 2 Super Actinic 110W 2 Actinic White 110w 2 Super Actinic 110w 3 Actinic White 110w 1 Super Actinic 110w which would give me the best color and/or growth? I'm going to keep primarily SPS. |

in my 90 gal reef I have LPS and softies,very few sps aside from monti's,and I currently have 4 vho super actinic's,and 4 mh 175 w...Ive been thinking on doing sps,when I do Im thinking on doing away with the 4 mh's and doing 2-250 w..

When I had my 90gal tank running (mostly softies and LPS) I was always happiest with.
2 Actinic White 110w 2 Super Actinic 110w The Aquasuns always looked pink to me. I'd be careful to keep your SPS near the top becuase that isn't much light for them at all. I'm sure they'll grow okay, but the colors will probably be quite brown. |
