help choosing pump

I need a submersable pump that is going to run through my chiller into my refugium. My chiller has a 5/8" fitting which really slows down flow. I am going to use flexible tubing. Approximate vertical is 5 ft and horizontal is 7 ft. I am looking to get about 300 gal/hr.

A while back I tried a Mag 7 and it made a clicking sound and the flow was 25-50 gal/hr. Never determined if the pump was defective. All I know is my chiller slows flow down a lot.

Any help would appreciated thanks

You might try a mag drive 9.5 or an Eheim 1260. A Mag 7 should meet your criteria though. I would check for pump damage before replacing it.
