Chiller Repair Question

My Aquatenics drop in chiller expelled alot of air when I was moving it. After opening it up I found that one of the small copper tubes leading to the drop in rod had broken in half. I'm pretty sure I can repair the tubing but I'm not sure if losing the air ruined the rest of the unit. Anyone else know if that was the case?
