turbosnail in refugium?
I have a 150 FOWLR with a 10 gallon refugium in my sump. The tank is one month old. I have a mineral mud and sand base, with about 20 lb of LR rubble and some chaeto (that is not doing well and turning brown). A lot of hir algae is growing on the rubblle. Is it possible, adviseable, or inadviseable to put a snail in the refugium to take care of the excess hair algae? Is it unusual that hair algae is growing in a refugium that has chaeto? I also just added a phosban reactor. Thanks again.
