gf wants to buy me a tank......

ok my girlfriend, the greatest woman on earth has decided to buy me a tank. my budget is 500 dollars. i just want a tank nothing else. if anyone is selling or know someone that is let me know please.

i found a brand new euro braced 120 for 499. made my viso. is this a good deal. i know i saw it at tongs but now im exctied. any help with this would be great.

Do you want glass or arcylic? Tongs is not the cheapest place. keep your eyes out summer time is when a lot of sales happen.

I got my 180 from ATA for $299...new +$105 for a hole and diamond edges

Yeah but thats only for the tank though. Those guys at ATA are scam artists.

get a used tank. with $500 you can get a decent size tank and corals/fish to put in it. go nano around 24gallons

pretty much everyone with chillers survive the summer i remember my first summer with no chiller and my apt was around 99-103 inside omg i was going thru like almost 5g of evap every day on my 60g also using ice. then i cough up for a chiller

I don't know if the 120 (60x30X18) is a good size for a reef, look at a 150 (60x24x24) much easyer to aquascape

what do you mean you just want a tank and nothing else? there is lots else you need. or did you mean she will buy the tank and you will buy the rest?

you know the tank only isn't much good with out $1,000's more for the rest of the equipment and livestock.

ive got most of the equipment. live rock curing in a bid for about 8 months. building my own stand and canopy. just need lights 250 watters maybe two on a light rail
