My freind sent me a few frags and im not sure what some of them are.
  She said the next one is a purple monti cap but it has not coloured up yet or grew since I had it. I had it for about four weeks now. Do you think it will survive?

I agree with Acrodave. Keep other corals far away from your hydnophora. They're quite aggressive.
