My seaclone never pulled anything even close to that.

I had one on an old tank and it worked really well for a few weeks. After a month or so after the prefilter got a little clogged with stuff and the buildup inside demanded constant cleaning and adjustment for it to work half as good as before. It never worked the same and I trashed it after getting tired of messing with it, hopefully you have more luck with yours.

I'm guessing it was basically similiar to a mesh mod on the pump.

Is that correct caribian1?

Take some pictures of the collection cups once you are done... you will want to make sure they are both pulling the same color skimmate... obviously if one skims wetter it will pull more than the other.

I'm def interested in seeing the results.

Next time you shut down your pump for maintenance, try and take a picture of the impeller. I'm very interested in seeing what it looks like.
