Help with Custom Avatar (picture)
I am trying to place a custom avatar on my profile and am having trouble.
I first tried to upload from my computer and it was too big. So, I down sized the image under the 150x150 pixel resolution but the file is still too large more than 8000 something bites. I then tried my photobucket acount and changed the image to the avatar size but when I go to upload it says its not the correct GIF or JPG file type...but it is a JPG. Can anyone help me with this? I am extremely excited to post this Toxic Nudibranch pic I saw earlier...

Nice... now with it only 2400kb you could stretch it more so we can see better
You are allowed up to 150x150 pixels. |

Hate to be a dummy; but, how exactly do I do that...
I am able to "resize/skew" the picture in Paint which changes the pixels. And am able to Paste it into Publisher and stretch the picture but when I save it it saves at 15.2KB Any particular program I need for this?

Just google "image resizer avatar" and I think the first thing that pops up is a free image resize site. Just upload the pic and tell it you want it at 150 pixels and boom, you're golden.

Another quick question:
How do you change the words under your name, like from "registered member" or "Premium Member" to something cool like "T5 reefer" or "drunken_reefer"?
