Put first fish in tank...Damsel but acting weird please help

Well guys my levels have been solid for about 2 months now and everything is great in the tank. I inserted my first fish today a yellowtail damnsel and hes acting pretty weird...Hes been in the bottom corner of the tank for about 6 hours...Hes the only fish in there. Could this just be him getting use to the tank? Or is there something I should do...thanks.

Did you adjust the salinty/pH/temp in the bag to that of the aquarium before dropping him into your tank?

Is he swiming around the in the same corner, or is he remaining in one spot this whole time?

Hes starting to explore a bit more but seems to want to stay in the bottom in that corner

sounds like hes just a lil skittish about his new suroundings. if hes still acting like this a few days from now then start to worry. for now just be patient and watch

is there anything in the tank besides the fish? ( rocks / sand ? )
