phosphate removal

Ok, I have a phospahate problem. I understand that I need to eliminate the source of the problem, and I think the problem came from cyclopeze feeding of my corals, and I may have overfed.

What I am looking for is suggestions on what I can get to reduce the phospahtes before the hair algae kills my corals.

I am looking at Blue life phospahate control, or a D-D ROWAphos Sponge, as well as the kent phos sponge. Any suggestions?

I have also seen a liquid additiave that claims it will drop phos levels, but how does it realy remove it? I am leaning towards a sponge? I have the PURA Phoslock on there now in a media bag, and it is not doing a thing.

This is in a 29 gallon biocube with frogspawn, zoos, polyps, etc, 2 clowns and a mild CUC.

I use TLF phosphate media. I have never used anything else, so I can't compare the products. My LFS owner uses the Brightwell Aquatics Phosphate-R, which is a liquid that you may be talking about. He loves it and says he notices a difference in coral health immediately. Apparently, it causes the phosphate to precipitate or bind to something and then it is removed via the protein skimmer. Because the ingredients are secret/not listed, I hesitate to use it.

Where do you get the TLF, or where can I read about it?

Don't waste your money on the "Phosphate Sponge" or any other ceramic or aluminum based media. They have a very short lifespan and can leach phosphate back into the water and some corals don't like them. Use an iron-based media (GFO) in a reactor setup (as suggested above) for the best results. They are cheap, easy to set up, and work very well.
