Damsels and clownfish ok?

30 Gallon tank guys...wanted to add a clownfish in with my yellow tailed damsel. Im unsure of mixing of fish so it may seem like a stupid question. Thanks

It should be fine. Provide a little cover for the fish, and they will be ok. I have 3 clowns with my yellow tail.

I have 2 domino damsels and just added 2 occ clowns. They were killed in less than 24hrs. Dominos are more aggressive thought i think. Plus they think it is their tank. Im thinkin bout gettin a yellow striped maroon clown to put those dam damsels in their place!!! Not sure about yellow tails though, never had one.

Damsels are a bad idea period. Pound for pound the most aggressive fish you can buy.

My green wolf eel took care of my problem

I think the biggest concern I'd have is the fact that you're adding the clowns to a tank already containing the damsels. IME they tend to let whatever's already in there alone, but add any new 'intruders', watch out.

That being said, my larger ocellaris is by far the most aggressive fish in my tank, and won't hesitate for a second to bite my hand if it ventures in the tank, even just to put in some nori for my yellow tang... evil bastard
