Question for Dosers - Can I seal the supply container?

Question for those of you who use LiterMeter3's or other dosing systems (Grotech, Profilux, Aquatronica, Aquamedic, etc.)...

Can I keep the feed container sealed, or does it need to have an opening to allow air pressure to enter? I use Polyp Labs Reef Fuel (to great effect!) and I assume it has alcohol in it and am worried about evaporation from a slightly open container.

Thanks for any thoughts!
