Angry Aiptasia

I added a new rock to a small Gobie tank I have been working on and developing for about a 2 years now. About two days later a Aiptasia popped up on one of my main rocks. I tried hitting it with Joes Juice, normally it would puke and die, but this one sucked it up and said give me some more, now they are starting to become uncontrolable. They placed themselves on the edges of all my coral and have started harming them. Any and all help would be taken open and would be thankful.

You must be new to RC; this topic has been covered here ad nauseam. That being said, Joe's Juice is good stuff so I am curious as to why it's not working for you...

Go get yourself a few peppermint shrimp...the real one's...and cut back your feed by about 30% and watch these little fellows eat them alive

I am new, I usually have a friend who keeps me well informed and guides me as to what is going on. I have dealt with many different problems and even this one, but this strain of pest seems to be imortal. The usual tricks I have thrown at them they have just laughed at me. Thank you for you advise and help and am sorry to bring up an old topic.

I have had really good luck with Mrs. Wages Pickle Lime (grocery store - canning isle) mixed into a thicker paste with RO than joe's juice. I still use a syringe, but the thicker paste seems to cover them and knock them out.

I've had success with kalk paste. Just bury them in a little mound of the stuff. Just don't get it on anything you don't want dead.
