what happens when a sea hare dies (or expells its poison)?

hey guys. i recently bought a sea hare to take care of my HA problem. i haven't seen him in a while and at the same time i noticed my devils hand is very shrunken and my orange star fish limbs are erodding away. i'm not sure if this is some other issues, however, im curious if this is signs that maybe the sea hare died and expelled some poison?

anyone?

Nope.

Sea hare will not cause this. I had one die in my tank and did not notice for several days. It was a dollbella sea hare.

Maybe other exotic smaller hares could poison but not the large/dark ones that you normally see for sale.

The reason your corals look bad is the reason for the death of your hare. Or it just starved (like mine did) and your coral problems are related to something else.

Do some 25% water changes over the next few days if you are concerned.
