20 long tank

looking to setup a 20 gal long tank what would be the best filtration setup i could go with just looking to have a few fish and some rock i know the smaller the tank the harder things are but the daughter want on and i have every thing but the filter so i thought i would give it a shot

Rumor has it that with only a 20g system, you can just get away with frequent small water changes - no need to get a skimmer.
