Help with I.D. please
Hey everyone, I've been having this weird thing growing in my palythoa's and I would like to know what it is! The LFS said it might be a sponge, and its not harmful. But it's harmful to the eyes!

I havent seen them bud anything, here is a closer look. They are all connected to a single mass, with about 3-4 mouths.
