75gallon stock list
Getting ready to add my first fish to my tank soon and just want a general idea on the fish id like in there (tank is going to be a reef tank)
2 Ocellaris Clownfish 1-2 Banggai cardinals (tank bred) Lawnmower blenny Yellow tang Flame angel also 2 cleaner shrimp too many fish? or do i have room for another? if so any suggestions and is the 75 too small for a yellow tang? I also realize that the flame angel (last fish to be added) might not be reef safe, and im willing to take a chance on it I was thinking of adding the 2 clowns first due to there hardiness, or should i add something else first Thanks again! |

A 75 should have enough room and swiming space for a yellow tang. I like the list. If it were my tank I would add some more bottom fish like a sandsifter to keep the sand clean, may be a 6 line to eat all of the nasties.

I thought about a six line, but wasnt sure how well it would go with a flame angel, so i took it off the list for now

75 is a little boarder line for the tang police but I like the list myself. I think they will do just fine
Clowns are hardy but they also have a disease named after them that is often over-looked. Just be sure to properly QT the clowns and I'm sure you will be very happy with them. I think you need a Velvet Wrasse and a Yellow Watchman Goby |

List looks good with one exceoption. The bangais will fight unless you are lucky enugh to get a male and a female. I'd try one of those and add a different small/medium fish to your list.

I'd probably move the yellow tang to last. The sixline is a jumper so you need to cover the top.

Maybe a tank-bred neon cleaner goby? They're small and don't add much bioload. Chances of getting a male banggai cardinal aren't too good, I think they keep those for breeding purposes.

I think male bangais are out there and I don't think anyone keeps them for breeding. It is just difficult if not impossible for me anyway to tell a male from a female and so when adding more than one there is a risk .
