Scarlet Hermits
I've had 2 of them for about 2 months, and i swear i never see them doing ANYTHING. They sit in the same place for a good 3-4 days then they might move just to sit there for another amount of days. I have 3 other hermits as well and i usually only see 2 of them ever doing anything. Does anyone know whats going on with these guys?

Mine are usually less active in the daytime, but they do scavage if they're hungry. I like them because they don't bother my snails unlike blue legs.

Lazy good for nothing crabs...
It could be that there is an abundance of food, so that they have no reason to move any where else. Make sure you aren't over feeding or that there isn't any algae issues. Just thinking about possibilities.

It will feed them. If there is a lot of food, they don't have to go far to find it, thus they will just hang out in one spot. If you do have an algae problem, but it's not too bad you can always try a few more snails or hermits. Make sure you got bigger shells for the hermits to move into, or they'll rip your snails out of theirs for the shell.

Seems nature's animals will only extend as much energy as necessary. Abundance of food may be restriciting their travel for new grazing grounds.
