What is it?

I started a 20L tank on the first of this month. I just added the water and 20 pounds of live sand on the first day. the 4th day I went and picked up my live rock 8 pounds dead and 12 live. 2 days later I'm peeking at it and see these things coming out of little white tube looking things. This is the best picture I can get. They are tiny, about 1/8th in diameter. One last thing, if I put a finger near them, they pop back into the tube then come right back out as soon as I'm away.

It's impossible to tell from the photo, but "tube" implies either a feather duster, or some sort of tunicate sponge. You might want to search around for pictures to see. Both are harmless

By the way,

I looked around and it looks to be a feather duster. The tubes are kind of coiled and stuck to the rock.

thank you for the welcome.
