Proper lighting will do just fine they will pull any nutrient out of the water they need , Be careful they can become a pest ( Best to keep separate from the rest of your rock )

Back when I had them I never once fed them, and they still grew like weeds.

For GSP, I see no need to add anything to the tank directly for them. And be careful where you place that rock, they can/will spread all over the place.

Don't feed them anything! Also don't put the rock near any other rocks in the tank or they will take over your entire tank. I also think they kill any other coral they touch.

I've always really loved these, and actually like how they take over. Usually rapid overgrowth can be attributed to overfeeding your tank.

But like the others have said, you don't have to feed them.

Proper lighting will be more than sufficient.
Good luck.

Ditto for proper lighting.

The GSP don't actually sting other coral to my knowledge, they just grow right over them.

Majanos would sting the GSP, so it would probably look like a GSP covered rock w/ bare spots where the majanos were.
