How much water can I change in 24 hours?

Wanting to do some large water changes over the next week (100% total in a week?).

Basically wanting to lower nitrates down, and I want to know how much and how frequent I can do without harming the tank.

20% every 24 hours?

I think that 20% every 24 is OK. Just note that you need to work on the source of nitrates and improve ways to export them. Although water changes will help reduce nitrates, you will soon be very frustrated just to see them climb back up in just a couple of days.

Make sure to let your new water sit and stir so pH can balance out etc.. Do you have macro algae in the fuge to help use the nitrates? I've got RDSB or remote deep sand bed in a bucket that keeps my 75g at zero nitrates.

I just installed my RO/DI. I've been using store bought which was testing pretty high (~20)

My tanks been pretty stable around 20 ppm, but I want to bring it down with the good stuff.

20% water changes each day is fine to reduce your nitrates. The other thing to make sure is how much are you feeding your fish as over feeding can increase your nitrate and phospate levels. Another solution is to use Seachem denitrate as this helps or to setup a refugium.

On my nano I have done back to back 50% wcs without any problems. The corals didn't like it for a few hours, but everything was fine. Doing daily 20% wcs will only slightly lower your nitrates.
Make sure to get your new water as close to the dt as possible.
