Fiddler crabs in my trank?
If i have soem exposed "land" in my tank is it possibel to keep fiddler crabs? or would i only be able to keep teh red burrowign kind due to salinity. i knwo they are intertidal water creatures but they mainly keep to brackish waters. is it possibel to keep them in a sw tank?

sorry no images yet the idea is still in the works. the goal was to build a shallow mangrove tank that resembles a brackish tank, serving the dual purpose of having a "brackish" tank (fiddler crabs, small gobies) while also using it for nutrient export on my small reef. so i would be creating a pseudo beach out of the sand for the crabs. however the main issue i am concerned about is if the fiddler crab can live in the higher salinity or not.

I think that you'd have to bring up the salinity up over a period of time, perhaps a week. Just, don't get to set on it, possibly start with a crab, and see how it goes from there, my brother had fiddler crabs, but only in brackish systems.
