Newbie In phoenix

Hello All, I am new to the site and to the Hobby. I have a 140 gall reef thank that is doing well so far, I do have a bit of an Aiptasia and red slime issue. My new kleins butterfly is taking care of the Aiptasia very nicely and I am working on the red slime issue. I am looking over all the post to find the answers for the questions I have so far, but was wondering if there are any clubs in east valley or someone to bounce a few questions off now and then?

Thanks!

Hi i would post the link but i do not know how to do it so i will tell you how to get there.
From the main forum page all the way at the bottom click the link for reef club forum then click southwest region then the second one down know as FRAG. they list all the lfs's and are very willing to help local people out.

Welcome!

To Reef Central

I would try to remove as much as possible, turkey baster or with your hand. Also i would try to cut back on feeding.

+1 on what Nano Chris said...definitely cut back on the feeding plus add more pumps for more flow and try to lessen the lighting cycle.

Sweet, thanks everyone for the info on red slime as well as the clubs page on this site.

jakers88, you may want to check out aquarium arts on Dobson and broadway. They are nice people and have good prices.
