Coco Worm lost both heads!!
Fed him invert banquet 2 days ago, seemed happy, saw what looked like excrement coming out of his tube yesterday, then today, as I was adding live rock, I moved him very carefully, and shortly after putting him back in hi soriginal spot after all the live rock was in, I noticed that he had lost both of his heads!, He still has the soft meaty looking tubes stuck out, and they will retract, but no feathers.. they're on the botton of the aquarium. Any chance of them regenerating, do I need to get him out of the tank? What could have happend?? I've hac him for about a month, he's 13'' long, and had 2 beautiful heads.. Seemed fine until today!?

I had one do that a while back and it took a month or two but then it popped up with a new crown. The new crown was smaller then the original but appears to be growing in.

Every so often they would loose their crown, should grow back in a couple of months.

I have a feather duster that did that. I found the feather part separated and on the floor of the tank, I wrote it off as dead. 2 months later I see a new feather head growing out of the same tube.
