Do 10K's need supplementation

I have recently switched to XM10k bulb and I was doing som reading in the SPS forum and many people had commented to another reefer to add atinics. Is this necessary? I am running MH only for about 8 hours a day and the morning sunlight for the beginning of the day. Just looking for comments cause if atinics will help I'm gonna clean the change outta my couch.

No..they don’t NEED supplementation. But...It will look rather yellow and not very attractive to my eye. If it were my tank I would add actinics or if I couldn’t do that, change to something like a 14K Phoenix.
