Out of the skimmer loop.... mesh mod for G3 or replace?

Back in the hobby after a few months and got the materials to do a mesh mod for my ASM G3, should I go through with it or sell locally and use that money to get one of the new skimmers that are all the rage now?

Not looking to shell out a ton, would buy something in the range of what I could sell this for.

Thanks is 95g w/ 70g sump.
