Suddenly cloudy after adding top off

I added about 2 gallons ro/di top off to my 75 w/55 sump today. All of a sudden, its very cloudy...sort of like being overwhelmed by microbubbles or when the whitish part of the two part gets added (except its not localized, its the whole tank).

Any ideas?

I dose 2 part, ph 8.2, salinity 1.024, temp 78, nitrates 10 (and falling hopefully), phosphate unmeasured but there because hair algae is starting, 4x54wT5, 2x150 15k MH (3 hours a day in 45 minute blocks, working up to 4 straight hours), octopus 150, 150 pounds LR, DSB in refugium, koralia 4 plus return (maybe 8x flow, just lost a koralia 4 and havent replaced it yet)

any other questions/background info needed?

i'm really stumped, its been about 30 minutes and hasnt abated.

thanks!

There was nothing in the RO/DI water, right?

Maybe you stirred something up from the bottom?

i know the ro was clean, but anything could have been at the bottom i guess...i pour it into the down-flow side of the bubble trap...it looks pretty clean down there (sure NOW its clean!)

no worries?

Have you ever used the bucket for any dosing, kalk or salt mixing. Perhaps there was some sort of undissolved solids on the bottom.

its one of those 5 gallon water dispenser buckets, so we really only use it for water transport (filter at home, tank at work).

its significantly clearer now, i dont see any additional sediment or 'dust' on any horizontal tank surfaces

no reactions that i could identify--fish, nems and frogspawn are all normal...

OK, I'd probably wouldn't worry about it.

As long as there are no ill or negative effects, I see no concern.
