WC: how to stop siphon to release hermit, without spills
Water change: how to stop siphon to release hermit, without spilling too much on the floor? Then restart siphon again, stop again - to move over the brace, restart again, stop to move to another group of rocks, without bothering corals.
Stopping siphon temporarily by placing finger on the bucket end of the hose leads to sprinkler effect - everything around becomes showered. Any ideas? Thanks. |

I use the thumb method and have no problems...just have to be quick about it.
