Caulerpa and Rowaphos
I had a caulerpa problem in my old 46 gal. tank and now I have a 90gal.rr tank that I started over with. I have had the tank running for 2 months now with no problems. Unit now I just started to get some growing at the top of the tank. I believe that I was able to keep it out of the main tank with cheato growing in my refugium. What I would like to know if anyone has been able to keep caulerpa under control with a refugium or Rowaphos?
thanks Rich |

I have with a refugium and some things to eat it in the display. Like tangs. However, I dont think rowaphos will keep phosphate low enough to kill it.

Its a good idea to have a refrence sample for alk test kits. 1.1350 grams of baking soda in 1gallon of distilled water=10dkh. Check your alkalinity test kit! Algae is Mother Natures phosphate remover Current Tank Info: 220 galon mixed reef. |
