PFO MH balast question

How can you tell the difference between a "standard" PFO 250w single balast and an "HQI" they are not clearly labeled... and there is no visual difference on the various vendor sites...

Thanks,
Ben

Mine has a factory sticker on the top that says 400w-HQI

I would see if its marked anywhere else, but it's too hot to turn around right now

Mine has the original PFO lighting sticker on it, but on the model number line it reads "MQ1-250" or "MQi-250w" and is hand written...

I have the balasts up for sale, and don't want to sell someone something as an HQI when it isn't. It was sold to ma as an HQI, but came with no original packaging or manuals so I can't be sure, without it being clearly labeled... I just don't want o upset anyone in a sale process, nor do I want to have to deal with refunds or shipping things back and forth...

Thanks guys.

Here's what PFO's website says:

BALLAST TYPES:
MH-Standard US ballast which operate most types of single ended lamps
HQI-Ballasts designed to operate most European and double ended lamps optimally
PS-Similar to standard US ballast, but it has an ignitor. The ignitor aids in starting AB lamps
EYE-Mercury ballast designed to operate the Iwasaki lamps optimally
EL-Electronic ballast
IC-Ice Cap Ballast

ALL BALLASTS REQUIRE RETROFIT SOCKET MOUNTING HARDWARE, PENDANTS, OR COMPLETE HOODS
