Anyone use/used Coralife MH bulbs?

I'm hoping to have a bit more exposure in this forum than the lighting forum. But I'll happily keep this question to the lighting forum, if requested.

I have what could be a very good deal on MH bulbs for my tank. But I don't see much online regarding Coralife-brand bulbs, let alone the 175W 20,000K bulbs I'm thinking of purchasing.

Does anyone know anything good or bad about Coralife bulbs? Have you used them? If so, how was your experience with them?

TIA!

I have a coralife pendant with a 150 or 175 watt 20K bulb. I loved it when I was using it. grew corals well, looked pretty blue/white, and was quite bright. I use coralife PC's now. I have always had good results with the lighting I have from them, both MH and PC.

The 5500k bulbs were the hot ticket 15-20 years ago Hell, I bet they're still pretty good bulbs if you don't mind the color...

Thanks, everyone! It's been difficult to find any information on these bulbs. (Surprising, since they're made by one of the main manufacturers in the aquarium industry.) I'm glad everyone seems to like the color these bulbs produce. But since I can't find spectrum and intensity information, I'm thinking I'll probably go towards Hamilton 14,000K bulbs or something with more research/experience to back it up.

I wouldn't go with the hamilton's, I see a lot of people that don't care for them.

Hmm... I always thought they were decent bulbs. Any reasons you've seen that they don't like them? And what would you recommend for a somewhat blue look to the tank? (Blue tint, not completely blue.)
