Best Skimmer for BC29? Remora, Octopus 100F, Precision Marine, Warner, Rouge

I've been doing a ton of research on which skimmer would work best for my BC 29 and I seem to be more confused than when I started. Seems most have tries the CPR, Remora, Sapphire and Tunze but I'm also wondering about the Precision Marine, Octopus 100, Warner and Bermuda Rouge.

I can't seem to find any real information about the Precision Marine and Warner, don't know if or how the Octopus or Rouge would fit with respect to the 3 rear chambers and have no idea if I can even get a mag 3 in the middle section to accomidate the rouge.

Any and all input would be appreciated, but I', really looking to hear about the Remora, Octopus, PM, Warner, Sapphire and Rouge.

well, all I can say is not to get the remora... I have had nothing but trouble with mine... even curing rock.

I was looking at a PM a while back, but info was lacking and the price between the it and the other skimmers was to great. I have known pM to have a good build quality, but I am unsure if it is worth the price... at about 30-70% more than the octopus. My friend has a Tunze with a 20L and has been very happy with no complaints. (He gave my remora back once he bought it)

Remora seems to be you either love it or hate in, no middle ground. I had a 5 year old Remora on my 29 gallon reef and it was average at best, would skim like mad one day and go nothing the next. That's what I'm trying to get away from!

yeah, at first my remora did fairly well. About 6 months afterward, it really would not skim well or consistantly. I upgraded to a Euro-Reef and that gave me a good perspective of what the remora was not doing. I think if I upgraded my pump on the remora to a 'quite one' or better, then the skimmer might redeem itself, but for a small skimmer I was impressed with my friend's Tunze nano. Sure, it isnt one of those ungoddly skimmers, but since it skimmer constantly with only two damsels in a 20L (still, my friend feeds too much) I would use one if I was to set up a 20g tank
