Protein skimmer required for 14g Nano tank?q

Hi, I'm new to saltwater tanks and I just bought a full marine Biocube kit that is 14 gallons and it didn't come with a protein skimmer and I was wondering whether I should buy one for a such small tank or just not worry about it. Thanks.
