I have seen it at aquahut, but why buy that stuff? You should just buy "dead sand" and add a cup of live sand from one of the members tanks. Another alternative is buying ls at an lfs it is around $2 a pound, I think suffolk county fish and reef sells it.

Humm -I have a tank up and running I could take sand from
I will be breaking that tank down -I did not want to use the sand from my tank since I thought removing it would stir up to much waste and detrius
I wanted to use the live sand so when I moved the rock and corals to my new nano it would would be "cycled"
If I bought dead sand and seeded it with my sand it would make the cycle longer no ?

If you use the rock and water from your tank it will not need to cycle it is already cycled. I have done this before no problems.

It is not the water so much as the live rock which contains the bacteria which either shorten or have no cycle.
