Wireless or USB camera for time lapse photography?

I'm close to putting water in my 360 and I'd love to set up a small USB or, better yet, wireless camera mounted to the ceiling and focused on the tank. I'd like to set it up so that I can:

1. Check out my tank when I'm on the road; and
2. Have it automatically take a picture once or twice a day to then use for time lapse photography.

Any suggestions on what type of camera to get and any advice on software to use for it? I'm more concerned with quality and ease of use than price.

Thanks in advance.

Los

I have a web cam in my 125 gallon reef aquarium. Look at my post and let me know if you have questions on set, etc.

Luisgo, very nice feed on your website. I love it. With that setup, can you have the camera take a picture each day at the same time to later do time lapse photography with it or would you have to manually capture the image?

Thanks again!

I think that you will have to take the picture mannualy. The other thing is that the camera will have to be in the same place all the time and mine is in a more or less unstable position.
