Redo Aquascaping
I am thinking about redoing my aquascaping so i can have a more open look to my tank. I was wondering if you guys/gals could help me. I am looking for some ideas on how to redo my 120. If you have seen any really nice open aquascaping with a large sand bed can u please post pic on the thread. Thanks

This is my buddy Steve's 180. I thought it was pretty open and yet still had comfy hiding for the critters.

I don't see many barebottom tanks. That looks surprisingly nice. It seems that it would be more difficult to anchor the base rocks.

He uses very large rocks. Honestly, I just dont like the "feel" of barebottom. It does not feel like a complete ecosystem without sand for me.

Mine has the same dimensions as a 120, just 6" shorter.

XTM: Very genius, I hope I can achieve the look that you have accomplished. It is "simply complex." The eye can understand the dimensions but yet it is still visually entertaining.
Did you use rods, PVC, or epoxy? Please enlighten me on your methods. 143gadgets: Loving the colors!

3/4 inch PVC? Did you drill the PVC to look like swiss cheese?
