should i scrub my live rock to clean them

I had my tank for almost 4yrs. I wanted to clean all the LR with a scruber. Should I pull The LR out of the tank and scrub them good to really clean all the junk off of them. Whats the best way to do this

get a 5g buket with saltwater(2-3g), pull each rock out one at a time and scrub and rinse in the bucket, then put back in the tank.

might need to change the water in the bucket once or twice.
