Suggestions for a new pump
Ok, long story short, my Iwaki 100 pump broke down on me. I removed it, took it apart, cleaned it and it is still not working so I'm faced with the fact that I need a new pump.
Luckily, my tank just finished cycling so I have a little time to do some research to find another suitable pump because there is no livestock in the system (I say suitable because I would like to find a different pump). So, besides going back with an Iwaki, what other pump would you recommend? I'm hoping to find something not as loud as an Iwaki. I would need something in the 2000 gph range. BUT...a new pump would have to have a 1" inlet and outlet (tank already plumbed with 1" pvc and cannot be changed). Are Pan World pumps good/reliable? Thanks everyone...

External, no option to switch unfortunately. Pan World pumps are the only alternative I've found so far...
