1 sick cardinal, 1 dead cardinal
About a week ago I added a pair of benggai cardinalfish to my tank. Right off the start one of the two cardinals did nothing but hide, didn't eat much, turned brown in colour and died sometime today. However he was eating okay. The 2nd cardinal, close to adult size, seems healthy but it's body and dorsal fin is taking on a goldie-brown colour. Again water parameters are great, feeding okay. The remaining fish appears to be active with normal behaviour.
Does anybody have a clue what is wrong if anything and does he need to be treated? |

Might be an internal parasite. By any chance is their feces white/stringy?

I can't say I've seen them poop but I don't have any white/stringy things floating around in the tank. Would there be anything else to look for?
