Do you have clownfish hosting in the anemone? If not, maybe adding some clownfish to host in the anemone might help because they would chase other fish away.

Getting a clownfish may help, but if you do get rid of it any local stores they will take it from you, some may even give you a credit on something else. Or you could place it for sale on this site and someone may be close by you that would buy it.

If you decide to get rid of it, I'd look for local hobbyists who have interest and knowledge enough to take care of it. Check for a local club, or here in the buy/sell threads for potential new homes. If that falls through, contact local stores.

carpets are notorious fish eaters. ive heard the addition of moonlights will help keep fish from drifting into them at night, but beyond that...thats just what that species of anemones inevitably does.

local clubs and most fish stores would be glad to take the anemone from you.

Any pics? Sounds pretty impressive (if irritating, fish-eating-wise).
